We are Five Oaks Ag Research and Education Center.
Our story begins with a man whose passion is indescribable.
Five Oaks Duck Lodge, located in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway in Humphrey, Arkansas, was acquired by the Dunklin family in 1983. The complex includes over 6,000 acres of flooded timber and rice fields.
Five Oaks Lodge and the surrounding lands exist in harmony with nature, employing innovative, conscientious land-management practices that promote the health of the land and provide attractive year-round habitats for migratory and wintering waterfowl. Five Oaks owner George H. Dunklin, Jr. and his team have put decades of research and scientific study into the nurturing relationship between waterfowl and habitat, and the Five Oaks land-management plans have a national reputation for success.
In 2020, Dunklin cast a vision of what Five Oaks could be, other than a world-class hunting destination. He saw it as a place capable of seriously impacting the world of conservation. Not only did this vision come to life, but it now exists as a thriving resource to communities globally. Work that has been done at the Five Oaks Ag Research and Education center is not only groundbreaking, but it is also helping educate the next generation on the importance of leaving our world better than we found it- our founder’s original mission.
