First class of the Graduate Certificate Program

The first class of the Graduate Certificate Program have arrived for the start of the school year, and they visited Five Oaks today. Also in the picture are Jody Pagan, Doug Osborne, and the FOAgREC Board of Directors (George, Ted, and Dale). The other two people are research assistants.

MONTICELLO, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello, the University of
Arkansas System Division of Agriculture and the Five Oaks Ag Research and Education Center on Wednesday announced a partnership for forestry and wildlife research and a graduate certificate program in conservation, property and land management

George Dunklin and Five Oaks have partnered with UAM and the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture for a three year waterfowl and bottomland hardwood forests research project. The announcment provides funding for a graduate scholarship and certificate for a student who has already completed their undergraduate work at UAM.

 

 Professor Doug Osborne was a guest this Monday morning on Scott Woodson's EAB Ag Network to disscuss the ramification of the new research waterfowl partnership between Five Oaks Foundation and UAM- CFANR.

UAM and Five Oaks recently entered a partnership for waterfowl research and education. George Dunlin of Five Oaks made the committment to try and protect bottomland hardwood forests and to provide habitat for dabblling ducks and mallards. This is a 360 video. Swipe right or left to move picture.
